Bach, a composer of the Baroque Era, 1600-1750

You are watching a montage of original Baroque Era Style compositions which I have put to imagery relating to the Baroque Era, begining with an original Fugue on harpsicord; an original piece of Chamber Music with harpsicord, strings and recorder and a re-arrangement of a Piano Solo which I extended for performance by an orchestra.  They were recorded using Edirol Orchestra and Early Patches Sound Fonts intergrated into Kontact 2 Sampler for recorder sounds.  I also greatly enjoy re-arrangement work.

THE BAROQUE ERA
A period of revolution and civil wars, long hair and flamboyant clothing, the music of this Era has the harpsicord prominant because the piano had not been invented yet.  There was a movement towards more major and minor chords and the development of keys, 12 equal semitiones, which Bach exploited.
